Modulate Your Points of View When you're in a position of leadership, it's imperative you are flexible and are able to employ both a conventional and or innovative approach to managing as well as your decision-making processes. By utilizing an innovative mindset, you will inevitably discover insights that will radically change your perspective on the solutions that are available when addressing possible solutions. While conventional and business mindsets seem very different, innovation can largely be managed in a predictable manner. Treat innovation like any other part of your business. In other words, breakdown and establish specific goals, objectives and a workable process for achieving them you can follow. Then, appoint someone to be in charge and hold that individual accountable. When setting goals, remember that the emphasis of the goals is on the inputs, not the outputs, as the outputs are unpredictable by nature. The process will require you to manage your team with intention to effectively achieve results. The bottom line is this: Both conventional and innovative leader
